  • Identification of Licensed Gold Supplier.

  • Contract negotiation and conclusion between Gold Buyer & Gold Seller

  • Oversee and arrange with Highly Prestigious United Kingdom owned Precious metal assay and refinery company based in Kinshasa, assay, refinery (up to 96 %) prior to the procurement of precious metal by the buyer.

  • Ensure all export documentation is certified by Centre of Evaluation and Expertise & Certification (CEEC) DRC Government department.

  • Ensure that all DRC export duties are paid to the relevant department.

  • All Gold Procurement must be undertaken after assay and gold content has been determined, this can be undertaken in front of both buyer and seller.

  • Expected Gross Discount of the determined gold content after assay between 12-14% of the LMBA London Price Fix.

  • Minimum Order = 12 kg.

Richard Bennett
Chairman

Richard is Chairman of CSI and has an illustrious career with over 30 years experience in export, sales and marketing management. He was previously a Board Director of Toye & Co plc, a company buying, selling and exporting Masonic regalia, silverware, and precious metals worldwide. Prior to this he worked in Commerce as an Export Manager for Harrison Birmingham Brassfoundery Ltd, and Archibald Kenrick & Sons Ltd, winning two International Export Association Gold Awards. He was educated at Eastbourne College and spent 2 years in the Royal Signals in National service; he was recalled for The Suez crisis and reached the rank of Acting Captain prior to entering commerce and industry.

Richard brings a wealth of corporate experience to CSI in General.

Lee Scarf
Managing Director

Based in London, Lee brings over 10 years of innovative I.T solutions and project management experience to his role of Managing Director. On gaining a Distinction award for Business and Finance, he managed an I.T and Marketing department for one of the UK’s largest Glass distribution and sales companies. Having facilitated the Technical and Client Interaction Centre for an International I.T company in 2002, he expanded into online Business Management and global commodity trading in 2005.

Lee will be spearheading CSI’s corporate strategy as well as instigating and managing dynamic business concepts to bring to our client base.

Stephen Robertson
Commercial Director

Based in the UK, Stephen will focus on developing good business practices with global enterprises, ensuring commercial strategy is achieved and adhered to. Overseeing all commercial agreements from start to finish, identifying any risk areas and implementing problem solving solutions to ensure good relationships with sellers and buyers at all levels is achieved .

Stephen gained a plethora of knowledge and experience in the supply/distribution and logistics fields whilst serving in the Royal Air Force as a non-commissioned officer for 17 years from 1982-1999.
Working closely with military and civilian establishments worldwide has seen him employed in various roles – combat and peacetime, executing supply availability to the highest standards. Stephen was awarded the Long Service and Good Conduct medal and also the General Service medal whilst serving in UK, Europe.
For the last 10 years Stephen has been focused on developing many online business and marketing projects and brings to CSI a wealth of online knowledge in various marketing and distribution fields.

Dr Kally Katshunga
Operations Director

Dr Kally Katshunga CSI’s Director of Operations based in the United Kingdom handles all of CSI’s Operational Activities liaising at all times with our Senior Groups Sales / Legal Director based within the Democratic Republic Congo.

Dr Kally provides a wealth of experience from working and living in the Democratic Republic Congo and was a former Ministerial Advisor to the Government of the DRC to the Ministry of Agriculture, Finance and Minister of Planning.

Dr Kally holds a Post Doctoral Diploma in International Evaluation & Interior Development & Co-operation, and Political Science and Social Anthropology PhD respectfully studied at the Universities of Ottawa and Vienna.

Steven Bennett
Director

Steven has over 16 years experience of working across various sectors throughout Africa. He has been advising the Zimbabwean Ambassador to the DRC on export opportunities from Zimbabwe to the DRC. He has also been advising an Iranian Hydro Power and Gas contractor regarding Power Plant development opportunities in Rwanda. Prior to this he lived in Zimbabwe between 1993 – 2004 and was Managing Director of ABOS (pvt) Limited, a company importing and distributing medical and humanitarian relief aid products to SADC Ministry of Health Departments, Army medical directorates and NGO’s.

Steven manages external communications regarding all aspects of project generation and execution in all markets.

Director

Emmanuel is a trained solicitor specialising in general commercial litigation and medical negligence. Over the past 18 years he has held various positions in media including VP for Business Development. He currently advises and has conducted research and written reports for several European Governments on their remittances programmes. He has worked on a programs with the IMF in South Africa for Central Bank Governors from SADC and also worked with the World Bank.

He has developed contacts with inward investment agencies and Ambassadors of sub Saharan Africa. He was educated at Haberdashers Askes School, Elstree, attended Chester College of Law and holds an LLB Law from Essex University.
